Pet Insurance and other programs

There are many forms of pet insurance and veterinary payment programs available to help with the financial burden accompanied with pet ownership.  Below are a list of the most common programs used at University Animal Hospital.

Pet Insurance

University Animal Hospital accepts many brands of pet insurance.  Most of these programs are refund based, meaning that you will submit a claim and the insurance company with reimburse you according to your policy.  Certain problems or procedures may not be covered by all plans, so be sure to do your research when selecting a policy.  Remember that most insurance companies will not cover previously diagnosed conditions such as hip dysplasia or cancer, they may even request a copy of medical records before establishing coverage.

Below are the insurance programs that University Animal Hospital believes to be best value based on coverage, payout and premiums.  They are also the only insurance companies to have earned the AAHA Seal of Acceptance.
