Phoenix Zoo Memorial Donations

As part of giving back to the community, University Animal Hospital makes a donation to the Phoenix Zoo in memory of our client's beloved companions. This past year University Animal Hospital donated over $3000.00 to help support the Joyce Carrigan Memorial Care Center, the animal hospital at the zoo. These funds are used to enhance the veterinary care needed to take care of the Zoo's animals. We appreciate all of our clients who allow us to care for their wonderful pets and enjoy contributing to help take care of the many different kinds of animals at the Phoenix Zoo.

Meet A Therapy Dog Named Roxy

Meet Roxy.  She is a 2 year old, spayed female Boxer and has been a patient at University Animal Hospital since she was 6 months old.  She has a new mission – she will be working as a licensed therapy dog for Therapy Dogs, Inc. based out of Cheyenne Wyoming.  After paying an annual fee and going through several months of training and certification with her owner Phil, Roxy will now be assigned patients of Hospice of Arizona.  Phil hopes to take Roxy to visit her assigned patients several times a week for an average of 2 hours per visit.
